Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

We are currently hiring a Shop Hand to join a busy industrial shop environment. This is a hands-on position involving the overhaul and preparation of downhole fishing tools and other shop equipment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, comfortable performing physically demanding work, and has previous industrial or shop painting experience . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and wants to build or expand their experience in the oilfield service industry.
Job Duties

• Assist with the overhaul and preparation of downhole fishing tools
• Perform industrial painting and surface preparation
• Sandblast and wire wheel equipment and tools
• Clean, prep, and maintain tools and shop equipment
• Perform general shop labor and material handling
• Assist other shop personnel with daily tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• Previous painting experience is required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Must be comfortable performing physical labor for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a shop environment
• Previous industrial, oilfield, fabrication, or mechanical shop experience is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
