Since 2001, CovenantCare Practices has served Middle Tennessee with independent, community-rooted family medicine. Across our three clinics in Clarksville ( Sango and Hilldale ) and Dover , our team provides continuity-driven care for patients of all ages—from newborns to seniors.

As one of our long-standing physicians prepares for retirement, we are seeking a dedicated, patient-centered Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our physician-led clinical team.

Position Overview\n

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care while serving as a Collaborating / Supervising Physician for our team of Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). You will play a central role in delivering high-quality, outpatient medicine in a supportive environment backed by a seasoned clinical and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide broad-spectrum outpatient family medicine care, including preventive care, adult medicine, pediatric wellness, chronic disease management, and minor in-office procedures.
\n
• Serve as the collaborating/supervising physician for mid-level clinicians (Advanced Practice Providers), offering chart reviews, clinical consultation, and mentorship.
\n
• Maintain patient continuity within a "one practice, one chart" framework across our Middle Tennessee clinic network.
\n
• Collaborate with local specialist networks and hospitals for seamless patient referrals when necessary.
\n
• Participate in practice quality improvement and clinical workflow optimization.
\n

Qualifications & Requirements\n

\n
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited program.
\n
• Licensure: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABFM or ABOFP).
\n
• Active (or eligible for) unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Active DEA registration.
\n
• Experience: 2+ years of outpatient primary care experience preferred; experience supervising/collaborating with APPs is a plus.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, clinical leadership, and a commitment to independent, community-focused patient care.
\n
